Thursday November 26th

 Best day ever!

Period 1 was reader's workshop.  Our mini lesson focused on vowels that go together (when two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking).

Period 2 was writer's workshop.  We talked about 'getting sparked by setting'.  How we can use setting to help us craft stories.

Period 3 and 4 were PJ's and The One And Only Ivan.

Period 5 Mr. Woolley has them for French.

Period 6 we'll finish our movie and hopefully get a game of Seat-ball in!

Remember, no school tomorrow OR Monday.  Enjoy your long weekends.

The One And Only Ivan...and PJ's!

Hey Parents...Just wanted to remind you with the winter weather, please make sure you kids have indoor shoes and boots at school...our classroom floor is looking a little rough!

So the stars have aligned and we just finished our class novel, The One and Only Ivan...AND, tomorrow is PJ day!  Movie and our PJ's!  So fun.

Just a reminder, due to Covid restrictions no stuffed animals, no 'class snacks' (but I'm okay if you pack your child some popcorn).
