I had a great question from a parent about the conferences next week. "Are the kids supposed to be present?".
To both my regular 'followers', I thought I'd answer that question here:
Totally up to you! The board's 'official' stance is that they are led by the student. I have found from past experience (and my own children's interviews) sometimes it runs smoother without the student present.
I can appreciate both having the student there and not having the student there. I will let you decide what works best for you and your family, I can adapt!
