Here is what we did today.
Period 1 we had our weekend round up.
Period 2 we did a little Winter Art (thanks Mrs. D for the idea).
Period 3 I got to take the kids to the gym for some inside gym class.
Period 4 we did some math...looking at the properties of 2D shapes (number of parallel sides, right angles). We did this work: https://www.math-salamanders.com/image-files/free-3rd-grade-math-2d-shape-properties-2.gif
Period 5 and 6 we'll stay outside for a bit. Then we'll come in and take up our social studies activity from last week (different ways we use the land eg., agricultural, industrial, commercial, residential etc...). Then we'll make our own maps.
If we have any time at the end of the day we might start watching the BFG (the newer version) just to compare it to both the book and the 'old school' animated version.
