Yikes...I forgot to post again yesterday...my apologies (again). Both of my faithful followers must be crushed.
Anyways, yesterday we did stuff...highlighted by having Mrs. Piazza's class visit and do social studies with us. We made our own toys from natural resources and we learned about hoop and stick and ring and stick games played by early settlers and first nations.
Here is the plan for today:
Period 1- Red light, read aloud, and a little quiz and game based upon the chapter we're reading in the BFG.
Period 2 is writer's workshop. Today we'll try to level up our boring sentences by making sure we answer who, what, where and when!.
Period 3 is math. We'll continue on with some rounding. I have some paperwork to do, then they can play some rounding games I've posted to google Classroom.
Period 4 is music with Mrs. Haynes.
Period 5 is Library / book exchange. We'll talk a little about art.
Period 6 is Art...we're making 'hand print poppies' for our Remembrance Day Wreath.
