Period 1 was reader's workshop. We talked about stopping at the end of each chapter and remembering the highlights.
Period 2 was writer's workshop. We went outside for writing. The kids loved being outside...being able to write and discuss with friends.
Period 3 is was so beautiful we stayed outside for most of it. A pretty big game of soccer was played by many.
Period 4 I introduced the concept of fractions and we did a little work. Then we finished our Movie, James and the Giant Peach.
Period 5 we are doing basketball in gym. We'll look at the basics of shooting and lay ups.
Period 6 is Mr. Woolley for French.
