March 17th

 Happy St. Patrick's Day.


Here is the plan for today.

For Reader's and Writer's workshop today, we're going to watch an interview between Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and Lauren Tarshis (I Survived series).  We'll learn all about Lauren Tarshis' books, research and how/why she writes.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8GQJfykyQM

Period 3 and 4 we're going to do 'whole school bingo'. Then math. In math we'll be looking at fractions on a number line (beyond 1 whole (improper fractions).
