Here is the plan for today (by the way, yesterday with no cards...amazing! Thanks!)
Today is also following a 'Friday Schedule'.
Period 1: Reader's workshop- mini lesson focuses on decoding multisyllabic words
Period 2: Writer's workshop - mini lesson focuses on "What if?". We'll look at true stories we have and see what happens if we change just one element (e.g., character, setting or problem).
Period 3 and 4 we will begin our next unit in math on 'Data Literacy'. We're going to look at ways to sort and organize information. Specifically, Venn Diagrams, Carroll diagrams and tree diagrams.
