Last day of January! Here is the plan for today.
Period 1 -Read aloud, reader's workshop. Our mini-lesson will focus on paying attention to ending punctuation, to help us know how to read fluently.
Period 2 is writer's workshop. We'll continue on with paragraph writing. Using the 'hamburger' graphic organizer. The kids will pick their own topics today.

Period 3 and 4 is math. If it's not too cold outside, we'll stay for a bit. After that we'll come in. I have 2 Blooket's planned (all about multiplication and arrays). I am also posting a 'multiplication puzzle' on google classroom that they'll try to solve.
Period 5 is gym with Mr. D.
Period 6 is science....we'll talk about ways to make materials stronger (folding paper, twisting etc...). Then the class will see if they can make paper bridges that are strong enough to hold a load of snap cubes.
