Here is the plan for today:
Period 1 -Red light, read aloud, weekend round up, and any extra time we'll have to read independently.
Period 2 -French with Mr. Woolley.
Period 3 and 4 is math. We'll be playing several place value games and doing some more work on place value.
Period 5 and 6 is social studies. Grade 2's to Raspopov/Smeaton and Grade 3's stay here to learn about how specific landform regions dictate the kind of jobs available in that region (e.g., farmers work land that is usually flat and fertile = Great lakes St. Lawerence Lowlands). Hopefully we can begin work researching a community somewhere in Ontario and digging into what kind of community it is (e.g., industrial, commercial, agricultural etc..)
