Tuesday October 1st

Happy October...and happy seat swapping day.

We did our great seating swap 1st period.  We used the 'random number generator' to keep things fair.  I try to switch the seats on the first of each month...so the kids can get used to working in a variety of groups and with a variety of partners. 

Period 2 we left for reader's/writer's workshop (student choice).

Period 3 Mrs. Haynes is taking them outside for music.

Period 4 we're going to some 'shared reading about soils off this website:

Period 5 we're going to finish up some 2 digit addition with regrouping for math...early finishers will get to play some other math games I have.

Period 6 we have the chromebooks again, we're going to talk about 'Internet safety' and play Google's Interland game:
