Here is the plan for today:
Period 1 -Red light, read aloud, phonics lesson on long u sound.
Period 2 -Reader's/Writer's workshop, independent work.
Period 3 is math, I'll introduce the concept of 'Area' to the class.
Period 4 we'll use the chromebooks to answer some area questions on Math Prodigy.
Period 5 is Health with Mr. D.
Period 6 we'll enjoy some unplugged free time.
