Here is the plan for today:
Period 1 -Red light, read aloud and reader's workshop - we're going to dig a little deeper into the EQAO practice test we did yesterday...we'll take it up and get a chance to assess our selves.
Period 2 is writer's workshop - I'm hoping the EQAO marking doesn't take too long and we get some time to 'free write'...we shall see. If we have some time I'd like to show them some more Heritage Minute commercials. https://www.historicacanada.ca/productions/minutes. They seem to be really interested in it yesterday.
Period 3 is gym with Mr. D.
Period 4 is Math. I'll teach the kids a really fun probability game called SKUNK. We'll play a few rounds of it before lunch.
Period 5 is tech. buddies. Today we'll help the Grade 1's build a 3D shape (of their choice) and divide it into equal parts (fractions).
Period 6 we'll head to the library for book exchange and enjoy a bit of free time...hopefully.
