Here is the plan for today:
Period 1 - Red light, read aloud, reader's workshop - focusing on finding similarities within groups of words (e.g. and=synonyms / but=antonyms).
Period 2 is writer's workshop - focus on persuasive/opinion based paragraphs.
Period 3 and 4 I'm hoping to get to the probability experiment from yesterday (we never got to it as I was solving a recess issue most of the period).
Period 5 is social studies...we're going to look closely at the Metis people/culture.
Period 6 is music with Mrs. Haynes.
