November 29th

Happy Friday...

We're missing quite a few kids today, so I'm going to maybe need to change things around a little.

Period 1 we watched a couple of videos about Camp X and William Stephenson

Then we had reader's/writer's workshop.

Period 2 is French with Mr. Woolley.

Period 3 I was hoping to present our 'Land Form Region' posters, but since so many of our groups are short, we might do something else.

Period 4 I was hoping to finish our Graphs...but again, it was mostly 'group work'...so we shall see.

Period 5 we have the chromebooks and we're going to be working on building our own cities on this website:http://www.citycreator.com/
Period 6 I was hoping to practise our scripts for readers theatre...but again, we need our groups.  Might just end up being a free time period.

Interview times

Please take a look at the interview sign up sheet (click the link).

Those times are not set in stone.  If you need to re-schedule just let me know.

Also, a lot of parents ask "Should I bring my child?"

I believe the board policy is that the students are supposed to lead the conference...  However, I've found that sometimes parents prefer the children NOT to be there too, which I also understand.

I am totally open to either.  If you would prefer to bring (or not bring your child), it's completely up to you.
