Here is the plan for today:
Period 1 -red light, read aloud, mini lesson on words that end with -ES.
Period 2-we'll look at our favourite characters (from books, movies etc...) and we'll come up with adjectives, adverbs, verbs and nouns to describe them...and hopefully begin work on our own characters.
Period 3 I have a scavenger hunt set up around the school. The kids have to find all the different coin pictures and count how much change is there.
Period 4 we'll reenforce that concept playing prodigy.
Period 5 is Health with Mr. D.
Period 6 will be some mindfulness...we'll have some fun and try some 'outside the box' sort of thinking...
