Here is the plan for today:
Period 1 - Red light, discussion celebrating such a great day yesterday...what worked? And reader's workshop - reading with a friend.
Period 2 is writer's workshop. We're going to try a 'story chain' as a class. One person writes a sentence, then another person writes the next one...and so on. (focusing on engagement)
Period 3 and 4 is math. We'll play race to 50 again, and introduce race to 100 for those kids that are ready to step it up (and regroup 3 digit numbers).
We'll also try a couple of gameshows in Knowledgehook..I'm still trying to learn to use the program myself.
Period 5 is gym/Terry Fox Run
Period 6 is Free time!
