Here is how today went:
Period 1 we read a couple of chapters from our new read aloud, Holes. Then we wrote a letter as the main character to our mother (as an example of how you can show your thinking in our weekly letters). Then we had our reader's workshop.
Period 2 Mrs. Pauls came into the class and we worked on her STEM Easter challenge, making catapults.
Period 3 and 4 we explored transformational and coordinate geometry with 4 different centres. We didn't complete all the rotations, but the kids worked well while I conferenced one on one with everyone. A lot of kids wanted me to post this link on the blog:
Period 5 we worked on our paint scrapping art and went to the 'Invention Convention' in Mr. D's room.
Period 6 is Music with Mrs. Haynes.
Note:
Still need a few pink permission forms from the Grade 3's. Friday and Monday are holidays...no school!
