Here is the plan for today:
Period 1 -Red light, read aloud (Every Child Matters) and a discussion about Orange shirt day. Then independent reading.
Period 2 Writer's workshop. We'll still working on developing stamina. I'm going to put up some writing prompts to do with Orange shirt day to hopefully spark some ideas.

Period 4 is music.
Period 5 is art. We'll decorate our own orange shirts, cut them out and hopefully hang them on a clothes line.
Period 6 when they're finished their orange shirt, I'll have the chromebooks available to play some fun games on cbckids.ca...where hopefully they can learn a little more about indigenous cultures.
